Just pencil this week. I think they've turned out alright. Sad to hear that the class is ending for the year in a couple of weeks. If you live in Bolton or around Manchester and can suggest any local life classes I would appreciate it.

Random people sketches for warm-ups

This is a sketch one of my favourite pieces from the Tate Liverpool. Its a weird dress made from cow skin (the udders make a sort of crown) and the artists grandmother's wedding gown. It looks kind of monsterish... that's probably why I liked it so much.

Dying to Tell

Today I received my copy of Jon Lock's Afterlife Inc. Dying to Tell graphic novel. I illustrated 2 of the stories in the collection. It's a really nice volume and I suggest you check out the comics on Jon's site if you haven't already. All of the stories are top notch!

Screen Printing

Last month I attended a screen printing workshop at Hot Bed Press in Salford. Over 4 nights we learned all the basics of screen printing. Below are some photos of the poster printing process.

I also printed my design on some T-shirts and bags.

All in all I had a great time. I'm itching to do some more.
